Job description
The HR officer is responsible for the first line HR support on our plant and HQ in Vilvoorde. You will perform an exciting range of duties including support for recruitment, HR administration, on- and off boarding of employees, HR events, performance & learning,…
In addition to having excellent written and verbal communication skills, you ensure a high service level for the internal customer and you connect easily within the Tessenderlo organization.
In this role you:
- will be the first line support & help for questions of our employees
- are the administrative backbone of the HR team and work closely with the Group HRServices colleagues (payroll & benefits team)
- take care of the onboarding and offboarding of employees in coordination with other departments (ICT, HR Services, …)
- are responsible for the recruiting and follow-up of interims (work scheduling interims, declarations of hours, contact with agencies,..)
- plan and follow-up on medical examinations, follow-up work accidents
- plan and follow-up on trainings
- are able to perform basic HR reporting
- support implementation of HR projects
- manage the work attire of our operators
- handles HR invoices and processes them in the accounting system
- manage all local hr events
- you take responsibility for internal HR communication
You report to the HR Manager Vilvoorde
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent through experience
- You have experience in a blue-collar environment and can easily connect with our operators
- Experience with the Attentia payroll systems is a plus
- Mastering Office 365 (Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong affinity with IT-systems & practices
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Very good communication skills in Dutch, good knowledge of French and English
