PB Leiner, originating from the fusion of PB Gelatins and Leiner Davis gelatin, is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of high quality gelatins and collagen peptides solutions. Our gelatin production and hydrolyzed collagen manufacturing plants are located on four continents, with technical and sales support spanning the globe. We count approximately 1,200 collaborators worldwide.
Why we do what we do
A natural, upcycled, and amazingly versatile ingredient - gelatin: it grows on you. It is an age-old natural ingredient that requires patient craftsmanship to make. For 150 years PB Leiner and its predecessor companies (PB Gelatins, Leiner-Davis, …) have been growing that craftsmanship of gelatin and hydrolyzed collagen production, exploring the boundaries of its potential. Today, we supply a growing market in food, pharma, health & nutrition, and technical applications. And we are far from done. Apart from the obvious functional and health benefits of gelatin and collagen peptides, their production also has an inherent upcycling quality: by processing residual products of the meat and fish industry, we make sure that we make the most of our planet’s resources.
